About MHG Learning Institute
The story of MHG Learning Institute began in March 2020 — a time the world will never forget. In India, it was the height of exam season when the COVID-19 pandemic struck. Schools were suddenly shut down, and exams were postponed. Students were left uncertain, anxious, and with no access to their teachers.
During that time, a few students reached out to Professor Amit Mehta, a passionate teacher who had always believed that learning should never stop. They needed help preparing for their JEE Main exams, and he couldn’t say no. With classrooms closed, he turned to WhatsApp video calls, patiently clearing doubts and helping students tackle challenging physics problems right from his home.
But soon, Professor Mehta realized that WhatsApp wasn’t built for real learning. So, with a bit of curiosity and a lot of determination, he set up a small teaching space using a camera, laptop, and microphone, and moved to Zoom. The difference was immediate — the classes became more engaging, and students loved the clarity and connection. Word began to spread, and soon, students from other cities were eager to join too.
Seeing this growing need, Professor Mehta decided to do more. He brought in talented Chemistry and Mathematics teachers, built a small team, and turned a corner of his home into a place of learning. Together, they focused on one simple promise — to give every student the attention they deserve.
Professor Mehta always believed:
“There’s no such thing as a weak student — only a teacher who hasn’t found the right way to reach them.”
That belief became the heart of MHG Learning Institute. Every class was designed to be small, friendly, and personal. Teachers didn’t just teach; they listened, encouraged, and inspired.
As time went on, more courses were added. Students who once joined for exam help stayed back to learn new skills — like Web Development and Programming — and around 72% of them enrolled after completing their board exams.
What started as a small effort during lockdown has now grown into a trusted online learning community, reaching students across India.
MHG Learning Institute continues to grow, one student at a time, staying true to the dream that started it all: to help every student discover their potential and believe in themselves.
